‘GEET’ STAR GURMEET CHOUDHARY LANDS IN NAGALAND

DIMAPUR, July 11: Popular Bollywood television actor Gurmeet Choudhary arrived in Dimapur on Saturday on his first visit to Nagaland, expressing excitement about experiencing the state’s culture and interacting with its people.

Speaking to Nagaland News Network (NNN) upon his arrival at Dimapur Airport, Choudhary said he had heard a great deal about Nagaland’s rich culture, unique cuisine, and the hospitality of its people. He added that he was looking forward to meeting the people during his visit.

Responding to a question on maintaining a work-life balance, Choudhary stressed the importance of keeping one’s professional and personal life separate. He said he makes it a point not to discuss work once he returns home, choosing instead to spend quality time with his wife and family, a practice he believes helps him maintain balance in life. Addressing aspiring actors, particularly those from small towns, Choudhary encouraged them to pursue their dreams without feeling the need to relocate to Mumbai. He noted that social media has transformed the entertainment industry by providing a platform for talented individuals to showcase their abilities, gain recognition, and connect with opportunities from anywhere in the country.

The actor also expressed his gratitude to his fans in Nagaland, where he continues to enjoy immense popularity for portraying Maan Singh Khurana in the hit 2010 Hindi television series Geet – Hui Sabse Parayi. Thanking his fans for their unwavering love and support over the years, he said their affection has always been deeply appreciated.

Choudhary also shared that he has an upcoming project in the pipeline and expressed hope that everything progresses smoothly, although he did not reveal further details.
