Kohima, October 3 (NNN): The Nagaland NET Qualified Forum (NNQF), in collaboration with the Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN), held a public discussion on “Fair Recruitment, Transparency and Merit” at the Old NST Parking Area in Kohima on Saturday.The discussion focused on concerns surrounding examinations and recruitment processes conducted by the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) and the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB).
Aspirants and representatives from various organisations shared their views and experiences on the existing public recruitment system.Addressing the gathering, NNQF and CTAN representatives stressed the need for greater transparency, accountability and merit-based recruitment, while also emphasising the importance of creating wider public awareness on recruitment-related issues.
The discussion saw participation from representatives of NURSF Meriema, Naga Research Scholars Forum Shillong, All Nagaland Pre-Service Teachers Association and Nagaland Linguistic Forum, among others. CTAN Convenor Meshenlo Kath also highlighted concerns raised by aspirants and stressed the importance of providing a platform where candidates can openly discuss issues related to recruitment and examinations.Several aspirants addressed the gathering, sharing their experiences, concerns and suggestions regarding the recruitment and examination system.
The organisers said the initiative was aimed at bringing the concerns of aspirants into wider public discourse and promoting greater transparency and accountability in public recruitment.
