DIMAPUR, July 10: In a significant political development in Nagaland, the Rising People’s Party (RPP) is set to officially merge with the Naga People’s Front (NPF), according to reliable sources.
Sources said the NPF is expected to formally announce the merger on July 11 at an event in Kohima. The move marks a notable shift in the state’s political landscape, as the RPP had previously been a vocal critic of the NPF and the NDPP-led government headed by Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.
