Mon, August 11: The Creators for Community Initiative under Nagaland Influencers Summit (NIS) 2026 has raised approximately INR 7.5 lakh to support families affected by the recent landslides and slope failures in Mon district.
The fundraising brought together content creators, musicians, artists, gamers, volunteers and members of the public through grassroots collections, online campaigns and livestreams. The campaign included the #150ForMon initiative, while community contributions included ₹16,000 from the Nagaland Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) gaming community.
The NIS team reached Mon on August 10, with the distribution of financial assistance to identified beneficiaries scheduled for August 11. The initiative, themed “Beyond Influence: Creating Change Together,” aims to use digital platforms and public influence to encourage community support and collective action.
