Wokha, Aug. 6: The Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) has issued a directive calling for strict adherence to office timings by government officials in Wokha, citing numerous public complaints over irregular attendance, late arrivals, and early departures.
The organisation said such practices have caused inconvenience to people travelling from both nearby and remote areas to access government services. LYH warned that it will initiate disciplinary action against officials who fail to comply with the prescribed office hours, stating that the move is aimed at safeguarding the welfare and interests of the Lotha community.
Copies of the directive have been forwarded to the Deputy Commissioner, Heads of Departments, and other concerned authorities for necessary action.
