WESTERN PORBAMI TZÜVE KROTHO QUESTIONS CLARIFICATION BY FOREST DEPT OFFICIAL

Dimapur, September 17: Advisor of the Western Porbami Tzüve Krotho, Bedusai Theluo, has expressed dissatisfaction with the clarification issued yesterday by the Officer-in-Charge of the Wildlife Crime Control Unit, Dimapur, regarding the recent animal-related incident.

Speaking to the media, Theluo said the clarification provided by the officer did not satisfy the concerns raised by the organisation. He stated that they have also received information that the two individuals who were summoned by the Wildlife Crime Control Unit yesterday at around 1 PM were released today after undergoing interrogation that continued until today.

However, he said the organisation has not yet received any official release letter confirming their release.Addressing the issue concerning Vezhoto, Theluo questioned what “server crime” he had committed, adding that this was something they themselves wanted to know. He said the organisation currently had no comment on what action or developments may follow in the matter.

Theluo further stated that the Western Porbami Tzüve Krotho stands in solidarity with the PYO and its demands. He said the organisation would continue to stand with the PYO as the matter develops.He maintained that they would wait for further developments before making any additional comments on the issue.
