DIPLOMATIC CHANNELS ACTIVATED TO BRING ROBERT KIKON BACK TO INDIA: DGP

Kohima, September 17: DGP: agaland DGP Rupin Sharma says police are aware of the whereabouts of Robert Kikon and have initiated diplomatic channels to bring him back to India.


Speaking exclusively, Sharma said official communication has been made through the Indian diplomatic mission in the country where Kikon is believed to be located.


The DGP said tracking Kikon has been challenging as he allegedly moved through three countries, but police now have a clear lead on his location.


However, Sharma declined to disclose further details, saying it could alert Kikon and affect the investigation.
He said police are hopeful of apprehending him if he remains at the identified location.
