Dimapur, July 28: The Commissionerate of Police, Dimapur, in collaboration with the Department of Emergency Medicine, Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR), successfully conducted a two-day training program for traffic personnel on emergency response to road traffic accidents on July 23 and 24, 2026.
The programme focused on equipping traffic police personnel with essential first-responder skills for handling road accident victims during the critical golden hour. A total of 25 traffic personnel participated in the workshop and received structured hands-on training in emergency trauma care, pre-hospital stabilisation, victim rescue and safe transportation procedures.
