DIMAPUR, July 14: Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Yanthungo Patton on Monday condemned the July 13 blast at Chümoukedima that claimed the life of one Assam Rifles personnel and injured four others.
Speaking to Nagaland News Network (NNN) at Dimapur Airport before leaving for New Delhi, Patton described the incident as “very unfortunate” and said state and central agencies are jointly investigating the case.
He assured that those responsible would be identified and brought to justice but declined to comment on whether any suspects had been identified.
