October 24: The Provisional Government of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN/GPRN) has condemned an alleged drone strike on Mt. Horeb on October 11, accusing the Indian Army of carrying out the operation during the early hours of the morning. In a press statement issued on October 24, the organisation stated that the strike took place between 2:40 am and 4:30 am.
It alleged that the operation was intended to target individuals who had stood firmly for the sovereignty of Nagalim. The NSCN/GPRN said the incident would not weaken its resolve to pursue its stated objective of restoring Nagalim’s sovereignty. It further asserted that threats and military action would not deter its movement, adding that those responsible for the alleged strike should be held accountable.
The statement also accused the Indian government of illegally occupying Nagalim and said the organisation would continue to raise the issue before the international community.Appealing to the international community and the United Nations, the NSCN/GPRN urged them to take note of the situation in Nagalim.
It also questioned India’s suitability for permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council, citing what it described as disregard for international law and human rights. The organisation called on the people of Nagalim to remain united and resolute in upholding their sovereignty rights, while expressing its belief that the current situation would not continue indefinitely.
