CM’S OFFICE HAS INFORMED AUTHORITIES FOR SWIFT JUSTICE: METHA

Dimapur, October 9: Advisor to the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Abu Metha, has strongly condemned the alleged assault and attempted kidnapping of a woman from Northeast India outside a five-star hotel in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

The incident triggered widespread reactions on social media after the woman shared her account with news agencies. Delhi Police have reportedly arrested three persons in connection with the case, while the Chief Minister of Meghalaya has also condemned the incident.

Speaking to Nagaland News Network (NNN), Metha expressed strong condemnation of the alleged incident, particularly highlighting concerns over atrocities against people from the Northeast, especially women from the region.

He assured that the Chief Minister’s Office and the concerned authorities had taken action in connection with the matter, stressing the need to ensure that justice is delivered at the earliest.
