A group of Class 10 students of Christ King School, Angangba, reportedly met with a road accident while travelling for a study trip along the Chare–Mokokchung Short-Cut Road on Wednesday morning around 6 am.
According to information received, one person died on the spot, while five others sustained injuries in the accident. The injured were admitted to Lenjem Hospital, Mokokchung, where they are undergoing treatment.
Following the incident, officials of the Sangtam Union, Mokokchung, visited the injured students. The President of the Sangtam Union, Mokokchung, also confirmed the incident over the phone.
