DIMAPUR: Former DGP talks about peace, prosperity and goodwill being one of the main message about the WW2 peace rally.
The WW2 peace rally just concluded at the World War 2 museum located at Kisama Heritage Village on 2nd December 2024. A total of 27 vehicles drove up from Dimapur to Kohima and also the prize distribution ceremony was held, including the best dressed as well as the best maintained vehicle and also the best vehicle and including arm and weapons.
The Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio attended as the special guest including country partner, delegates, guest as well as state state partners. During the program the Chief Minister was seen speaking on the history on how this came about. The former DGP John Longkumer was also seen sharing his journey experience and how nostalgic he felt, he also shared the process of preparation for the WW2 peace rally and said that he started since February for this to come to light as the jeep is also so old. He also spoke about peace, prosperity and goodwill being one of the main message that they want to portray in the WW2 peace rally.
