HERO’S RETURN: PARALYMPIC MEDALIST HOKATO SEMA PROMISES TO CHANGE MEDAL COLOUR IN NEXT OLYMPICS

Dimapur : Historical moment marked by Mr Hokato Sema in the Olympics

Paralympic Games Paris 2024 which was held on August 28th to September 8th. Nagaland represented India by Mr.Hokato Sema in shot put and not only participated in the Olympics but he won a bronze metal back home to Nagaland, India. On Sep 19th at the Dimapur Airport the arrival of Mr. Hokato Sema was organised by the Western Sumi Sports Association and also the Dimapur Naga Students Union. The reception was attended by a large group of people, different organisations, family, well wishers and relatives welcomed him. Bronze medalist added that he faced injuries and health issues during the stay in Paris, but his determination and for the love for his people and Nagaland he gave his best shot and won the bronze medal. He further added that he would change the colour of his medal in the next Olympics. In Nagaland Mr Hokato Sema marked the historical moment with his bronze metal.
