SOME PRIVATE SHOOLS OPERATING LIKE ‘PAN SHOPS’ WILL BE SHUT DOWN IF NOT QUALIFIED, SAYS ADVISOR YHOME AT GHSS LENGRIJAN UPGRADATION CEREMONY

DIMAPUR: Some private schools operating like ‘PAN SHOPS’ will be shut down if not qualified, says Adv. Yhome.

During the upgradation ceremony of Government Higher Secondary School Lengrijan on 7th November 20204, Anungla Pongener G/T GHSS, Lengrijan on behave of all the school gave a warm welcome to everyone in the upgradation ceremony of GHSS, Lengrijan DMP Nagaland. Chairman, LVC T. Anung Pongen also gave a brief history about the GHSS and its upgradation and said that its all because of the love and support of all and above all by the grace of God. Moatoshi Longkumer Adv, Excise department was also seen giving a short speech, where he expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Advisor, School Education & SCERT Government of Nagaland, Dr. Kekhrieljoulie Yhome for upgrading the GHSS and said that this privilege was been long awaited by all the council and everyone but he told them to wait because he wanted the valuable presence of Advisor, Yhome to inaugurate it and expressed his gratitude for his presence.

He said that the celebration of upgradation of GHSS is not just about the facilities and the resources but also symbolises the shared commitment to nurturing the dream, aspiration and talents of every student. He also encouraged and advised the teacher by saying that, the institutions belongs to the teachers and that it is their heart and soul, he said that the decision making regarding the school also lies in the hands of the teachers and so he advised the teachers to give the full commitment in bringing up the children not only as a duty but such that the children or the students are taught and lead in the right direction with examples so that the GHSS will shine. He also advised the students by saying that if they don’t study hard, evolved themselves then their life will be shambled after 15 years and those who work hard will become rich, successful in future, he also said that there are many educated unemployed youths in Nagaland. And congratulated for such initiative.

Advisor, DoSE K. Yhome also was seen giving a speech, he congratulated everyone and said that it was his privileged to be apart of the program and said that Nagas’ are generally poor and unable to get good and proper facilities and so, he said that it is their responsibility to provide a good education and facility to young and promising children and that it is slowly improving in education system and added that in Nagaland there’s a total of 1939 government schools and 722 private schools and a couple of central schools, and said that it is very important to give education to our children. And said that the upgradation of the GHSS to class 11 and 12 will be a new beginning for the people. He also said that the changes that we see will not happen immediately but have to be nurtured from the primary section onwards and it will bear its fruit in its own time and so he encouraged everyone to work hard, holding their head up high. He also asked for unanimity, dignity in the education system, teachers and administration in Nagaland; he mentioned that they are calculating the profit, not into business but said that the school should perform and be profitable by giving an examples of other schools and said that the elders input is very much needed and public consultancy will also be taken to improve the school system in Nagaland for students and teachers. He ensures the students that they are no lesser because they are studying in a government school and request everyone to give their best and improve the grade of the school by studying hard and concluded his speech by wishing a good luck upon the school.
