TRIBE FC DELIVERS ENTHRALLING FIGHT NIGHT TO DIMAPUR

DIMAPUR: Asst. Trainer, Bendangliba LKR urges the people to drop the narrow mindset & stop being racial towards the guest or outsiders; to take losing with honour.

On 1st Nov 2024 there was a face off between the fighters who have gathered from all over the places and neighbouring states as well as international for the Tribe FC which was held in DMP, Nagaland on 2nd Nov 2024 in the multi-disciplinary state stadium. The face off and introductory round was done on 1st Nov while the match was scheduled on 2nd Nov.

The match was truly an amazing and entertaining to the crowd of DMP, where each fighters displayed their own unique talents, skills and techniques. Neitso Angami emerged as a winner, qualifying and beating his opponent in all the three rounds. While interviewing with him after the match, he said that it was all because he believed in himself, his skills and his techniques and IQ. He was recollected the face off moment when he said that he will finish his opponent; he clarified that its was not because he underestimated his opponent or he thinks highly of himself but because he believed in himself and his skills and said that it was all because of God’s grace and help.

Neitso Angami also said that it was not easy to defeat the opponent and that they had also given a very tough competition to him and he was lucky enough to defeat the opponent in the third round. He also mentioned that he wasn’t able to train properly for the past few months and so he was truly struggling and his skills was also a little crusty: he said that he had the best training camp this time where he trained with his teammates who took part today as well as who wasn’t able to take part, he also gave a shout out to his coach for his nutritional guide, moral support and pushing him to his limits, that’s how he said that he was able to push through the three rounds.

He also said that it was not his first tie going up against an international fighter, and he had represented India in Asia championship and World Championship as well; he also included that no matter what and where they are from we are all human at the end of the day and if one punches or kick its gonna hurt anyway. So, he encourages to trust in our own gameplay and training and he said that, that’s how he was able to win. He added that no matter what and where, there is nothing like the crowd and the people of Nagaland, he said that the energy, vibe is in whole another level and that the one good thing about the Nagas is that they are not partial in the game no matter who they might be and urges the people to continue to support the fight Fc.

Bendangliba LKR, ASST trainer. also said that the response of the crowd and the match was amazing today and gave out a message to the people to give out no racial remarks on anyone because sports has no tribe, religion, caste or colour and that there is just blood and glory and so people should understand that when the outsiders comes to play we should all welcome them and show hospitality; Even losing should be taken with honour and giving the outsider a sense of hospitality and said that its high time to drop the mindset of being a narrow minded, being racial and enjoy the event with being a responsible people towards the guest.
