DIMAPUR: Minister Temjen Imna Along says that, Kisama Kohima and the people are preparing its own for the upcoming hornbill festival for the 25th edition.
On the sidelines of the program near at DMP gov college, the Minister for Higher Education and Tourism Temjen imna Along spoke to media persons and talked about the various issues in Nagaland; especially he was seen talking on the topic of the upcoming 25th edition Hornbill Festival less than a month away.
The questions was raised regarding the small issues that pops out during the hornbill festival every year and especially the heavy traffic problems that have been faced by the people during the hornbill festivals every year. He said that the movement pf the VVIP has been curtailed and their long gone voice, he also added that Kisama the heritage village and the people are in full preparations, full night and day and said that he hope to see that the 25th edition of hornbill festival will be a wonderful event for all.
He also urged the people and the citizens to be responsible during the hornbill festival in order to avoid unnecessary traffic and not to show off their vehicles by taking one vehicle for just one person but instead try to adjust 4,5 people in one car and take public transportation as the govt will be providing a good luxury public transport and everybody can sit there and go and this time even the VVIP will be curtailed. He added that its a collective responsibility of all for the traffic and said that the road cant be cut just because of the traffic, however the govt is trying its best and that traffic police will be there to guide the people. He also encouraged everyone to fill their own data and come because just one wi-fi cannot feed thousands of people: but for the media fertility he said that they will make sure to get good connectivity at high speed to upload the videos and reports.
