RIO INAUGURATES PROJECTS AT DMP GOVT COLLEGE UNDER PM-USHA; GOVT STRIVING FOR BEST INFRASTRUCTURE

DIMAPUR: Chief Minister, Nagaland Rio inaugurates three projects under the PM-USHA scheme.

Chief Minister, Nagaland inaugurated three projects under the PM-USHA Scheme in Dimapur Government College on 2nd November 2024. These three PM-USHA Scheme included the academic block, the girls hostel and the skill hub at Dimapur Government College. The chief minister of Nagaland also inaugurated the facility- Restroom of the Dimapur Government college, which was also reported to be constructed with the internal funds of the college as well which amounted to 42lakhs approx.

During the inaugural, Chief Minister of Nagaland also laid the foundation stone of all these projects and facilities in DMP Govt. College. In his speech he said that in Nagaland people as well as the students have faced a lot of difficulties due to infrastructure but now the Government is slowly trying to overcome them with such schemes and facilities available. He also encouraged the DGC where there are more girls compared to boys and said that he is very much encouraged seeing it and that females re doing much better compared to the male in the field of education in Nagaland. He was also accompanied by the cabinet ministers and advisors including the Higher Education Minister of Nagaland Temjen Imna Along who also spoke during the inaugural function as well as Moatoshi LKR, Advisor GoN and many other ministers including CL John as well. The DC and many other high dignitaries also attended the inaugural program.

Temjen Imna Along, Minister and Advisor to Higher Education of Nagaland also talked about a new step towards a new and better horizon in his speech through the PM-USHA scheme. He also added that the youths should not only go for Govt. Jobs but they should be skilled and trained well in al aspects of life, in his speech he also congratulated everyone for the foundation stone leading by the principal, vice principal of Dimapur Government College for taking a step ahead in achieving greater heights. The inaugural program ended with a vote of thanks from the professor of DGC for the success of the program and for the valuable presence of all.
