LADY ACCUSED IN ABDUCTION CASE SURRENDERS TO POLICE, FACES LEGAL PROCEEDINGS AHEAD

DIMAPUR: One of the alleged culprit of the Diphupar abduction case voluntarily surrenders herself to the police.

It is reported that, one of the culprit of the ‘Diphupar abduction case’ surrendered herself in the East police station on 25th oct,2024 around 8pm. This incident trace back to 10th oct 2024 when two 0f the Diphupar youth, who was a bonified member of the Diphupar youth was kidnapped by NSCN-K-NIKI group. Where it was seen that many organizations came forward and condemned against such barbaric act and stood for justice. A huge public uproar was also reported during the fight for justice and the police department also gave out a lookout notice for the two culprits where the informant was promised to be rewarded handsomely.

During this whole process of fighting for justice and demand of the culprits, sources had informed that Khevini T Yeptho who is 50 years of age voluntarily came forward and surrendered herself in the East police station on 25th October, 2024 around 8pm. It was also informed that the culprit will be kept in the police custody for a period of two to three days and she will be sent to the judicial court for further course of action.

However, it was also informed that there is still no news or updates about the whereabouts of the other culprit that was involved in the abduction of two diphupar youth and that he is still in absconding and no where to be found.
