Nagaland Targets 2,500 Students for ‘One Million Voices’ Global Education Movement; AI Learning to Begin in Schools

Kohima, November 5: Nagaland has joined the global education movement ‘One Million Voices’, an initiative aimed at listening to the aspirations, concerns and future expectations of young people, with the state targeting around 1,000 to 2,500 participants between the ages of 12 and 25.
Advisor to School Education, Kekhrie Yhome, announced the initiative during a press conference held at the Directorate of School Education in Kohima on Thursday.

He said the movement is part of the larger global initiative ‘One Billion Children’ and is being implemented in India under Shiksha Graha, an education movement supported by philanthropic and knowledge partners.
Yhome said the initiative is not a government programme but a collaborative movement in which Nagaland is participating to understand the voices of young people and make the education system more responsive to their needs.
