Dimapur, October 6: Vision for Change, Dimapur, has successfully completed a free basic baking training programme on commercial baking at Lufemy Baking Centre, Duncan Bosti, Dimapur.
The programme was conducted in batches, with 78 trainees trained from August 19 to 26, 2026, and another 67 trainees in September, bringing the total to 145 trainees.
The training focused on hands-on skills in preparing bakery products such as cakes, cookies and buns, along with food hygiene and safety practices. The initiative aimed to equip participants with skills and confidence for self-employment, livelihood opportunities and further skill development.
Vision for Change expressed appreciation to the trainees, donors, sponsors, supporters and individuals whose contributions helped make the free and subsidised training programmes possible.
