Kohima, July 18: The Viswema Union Kohima (VUK) on Saturday organized its first-ever social work drive along Vizol Road to honor the legacy of former Nagaland Chief Minister Late Vizol Angami, who served the state from 1974 to 1982. The initiative commemorated the naming of Vizol Road in recognition of his contributions to Nagaland.

His youngest daughter, Akhale Vizol Khamo, recalled her father’s distinguished service as an airman during the Second World War and his lifelong commitment to public service, while sharing one of his memorable quotes.
