DIMAPUR, July 3: Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen’s Federation (DUCCF) president Zasivikho Zakiesato has questioned the lack of progress in tracing former pastor Robert Kikon, who has been absconding since sexual assault allegations involving minor boys surfaced against him in September 2025.
Speaking on Friday, Zakiesato said it has been nearly two years without any official update on Kikon’s whereabouts. He appealed to the DGB and the authorities concerned to make all efforts to bring the accused back to face the law.
He also asserted that Nagaland Police are fully capable of handling the case and should not allow any impression that law enforcement is weak. While rumours have circulated that Kikon may have fled to Southeast Asia, no official confirmation has been issued by the investigating authorities.
