NPCC CELEBRATES 100 YEARS OF GANDHI’S CONGRESS PRESIDENCY; MUST REVIVE THE LEGACY OF GANDHI, SAYS C APOK JAMIR

DIMAPUR: C Apok Jamir talks about how a state should have transparency in its governance.

Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee Minority Department celebrated 100 years of Mahatma Gandhi’s Congress Presidency today at the Congress Bhavan , Dimapur. C Apok Jamir Former MP, working President NPCC was seen gracing the program as the Chief guest. Many other leaders and dignitaries were also seen present in today’s program.

During the speech, they talked about how Mahatma Gandhi brought freedom not with bloodsheds but with peace and also highlighted his contributions towards our Nation. C Apok jamir, Former MP and workig president NPCC in his speech also talked about love being a universal language and how everyone can understand it, he also talked about the essentials to revert back to what Gandhi have taught us, his teachings, philosophy, ideology, etc in bringing revolutionary through peace and not violence in the country.

His speech also said that the country is strengthened because of the rich diversity that exist and work in unity to achieve milestone and said that transparency in the governance should be there in all the states. He said that, today’s 100 years of celebration was just not a celebration but to revive Mahatma Gandhi’s legacy that he left behind for all.
