DIMAPUR: We are no longer safe in our own home and own land; says different Youth Frontal Organzations.


In Nagaland, Civil bodies and organizations or the Youth Frontal bodies all together have been fighting against the extortion or abduction. Today, in Chumukedima Ao Youth Organizations took an initiative and along with various other organizations hosted a press conference regarding the demand of INR 50 lakh by the NSCN Khango group from Aolemba who is a bonefied member of Chumukedima and who is a bamboo craft artist.
They informed that on 16th December, two people from the NSCN Khango group came over at his residence and demanded the INR 50 Lakhs in two days, and said that on the next day i.e the 17th of December they even lodge an FIR against them in the Chumukedima Police station but till this day the Police could not catch the culprit. Today’s press conference comprised of many different Youth Frontal Organizations.
In the press conference today, they questioned to the law enforcing agencies that why till this day they could not catch the two culprits. And also questioned to the ceasefire monitoring board that, why they can not control their own cadres and why they don’t take any actions against them. They also further added in their press conference that, we the Naga’s are no longer safe in our own land and own home.
